Florida flux boosts ILW trading

Pricing and trading in the industry loss warranty (ILW) market has boomed following mooted changes in the Florida state's cat fund in recent months.
It is understood that the cat fund and the state insurer Citizens are weighing up options that could see them buy $3-5bn of cover in the private market, which has meant that the market has been "pretty active on the back of a lot of price movement with more parties seeking protection at this point"...
