Where do you see the insurance-linked capital markets in 12 months time?

We need to encourage more sponsors to take the difficult step of issuing their first transaction. Once cedents have accessed the capital markets for alternative risk transfer for the first time, they tend to use it again. They generally find that the insurance-linked securities (ILS) market is a good complement to traditional reinsurance, once they have taken the effort to understand it better.
