Where do you see the insurance-linked capital markets in 12 months time?

The market - certainly for cat bonds and derivative instruments - is growing at "stall" speed, and is at a critical point where it will either recover or crash land.

I'm a long term supporter of the ILS market and my expectation is that we will come out of the stall within the next year.

The collapse of Lehman Brothers tarnished the "pure play; secure play" cat bond...
