AIR extends reach of European cat models

Catastrophe modelling firm AIR Worldwide (AIR) released updates to its European wind and earthquake cat risk models this week, with both models having been expanded to include additional countries.

AIR's Extratropical Cyclone Model for Europe has been expanded to include six additional European countries and the quake model has been extended to a further 24 countries.

Version 13.0 of the cyclone model now captures the financial impact of European windstorm on 18 countries: Austria, Belgium, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland,...
