Calypso closes up at EUR275mn

French insurer Axa's latest cat bond, Calypso Capital, has closed at almost double initial targets, offering EUR275mn of European wind exposure to ILS investors.

The target size for the transaction - Axa's first European wind cat bond - was EUR150mn, but strong demand and attractive pricing pushed the final deal size to EUR275mn.
