Catco Investment Management has hired ex-Aon Benfield broker Ron Collins in the new role of director of underwriting.

He will share underwriting responsibility with Graham Wood and report to CEO Tony Belisle and indirectly to chief operating officer and chief financial officer Jason Bibb.

Collins was most recently a senior managing director at Aon Benfield where he focussed on collateralised reinsurance across the property, marine, aviation and satellite classes of business.
