Dunamis launches private cat bond platform

Start-up ILS operation Dunamis Holdings is the latest to back private cat bonds with the launch of a new "one-stop" issuance facility to transform risk into the capital markets.

The Bermuda-based venture, called Kalista, is backed by Limestone Law, the Bermuda Stock Exchange and an un-named reinsurance company. Risk modeler RMS will also act for the firm, according to a statement from Dunamis yesterday (17 November).
