Hinshelwood to head revamped Kane

Insurance manager Kane has appointed a new CEO and opened an office in New York with new funding from private equity shareholder CBPE.

Simon Hinshelwood has been drafted in to replace founding CEO Stephen May, who left the firm last year.

Hinshelwood most recently ran his own change management firm, Hinshelwood & Associates.

CBPE bought into the company last May to support its $27.5mn takeover of HSBC Insurance Management...
