ING's $825mn deal gives life to Regulation XXX

Dutch conglomerate ING has completed an $825mn Regulation XXX life transaction, backed by a new collateral facility from Bermudian firm Karson Management.

The deal is the first of its kind from Karson Management, which was launched in 2007 by ex-Citibank executive Derrell Hendrix. It is a provider of specialist alternative collateral for (re)insurance companies, Lloyd's corporate members and other corporations to support their regulatory and credit security requirements.
