Investors lap up first 2010 Euro wind bond; Green Valley II

Cat bond investors are lining up in numbers to buy French insurer Groupama's EUR100mn European wind transaction, Green Valley II, Trading Risk can reveal.

The transaction is the first pure European wind ILS to come to market in 2010 and has been hotly anticipated by dedicated cat fund investors searching for non-US wind perils to dilute a heavy concentration in 2010 issuance.
