Kramer launches ILS fund manager

(Re)insurance start-up specialist Don Kramer has backed the insurance-linked capital markets in his latest venture and plans to manage institutional capital from October under his ILS Capital Management umbrella, Trading Risk can reveal.

Although he is still finalising the infrastructure - which is funded from Kramer's own pocket - the firm plans to approach institutional investors with its insurance-linked management proposal next month, Kramer told Trading Risk.
