Longevity swap may be resuscitated

A stalled longevity swap by Premier Foods may be brought back to life, as market factors prove more compelling than the estimated 3-10 percent pricing gap believed to be slowing transactions in the nascent market, Trading Risk understands.

It is believed Premier Foods is still interested in reducing its longevity risk and is keeping tabs on the developing market. However, sources close to the firm suggest that it has yet to find the right counterparty or price point to encourage...
