Madison leaves Bank of America

Veteran cat bond trader Dan Madison left Bank of America Merrill Lynch (BAML) in February after six years with the firm, according to sources.

Madison's next move is unknown, but sources suggest that he will move to another bank to trade fixed income, including ILS, asset-backed and mortgage-backed securities.

Before joining Merrill Lynch in 2005 - which was subsequently bought by Bank of America in 2008 - Madison spent 10 years as a fixed income trader at Fidelity Investments...
