Reinsurance broker Guy Carpenter has signed up ex-Deutsche Bank convergence executive Erik Manning to join its Bermuda team, confirming earlier Trading Risk reports that tipped the island as Manning's next destination.

He will join Guy Carpenter from 27 September in the Global Specialities business, reporting to division chairman Kevin Fisher.

His role will involve developing market-based retrocession reinsurance solutions, according to a Guy Carpenter statement.
