Perez: $100mn entry point for new funds

Competitive and economic constraints have pushed the minimum entry size for an ILS fund to $100mn, according to fund services provider Horseshoe.

When asked whether the cat fund universe was shrinking to a small number of influential "mega-funds", Horseshoe founder and CEO Andre Perez said that "anything under $100mn was difficult to justify".
