RMS launches Euro wind model

Risk modeller RMS released its latest Europe windstorm model on 12 July, introducing three new countries and increasing risk profiles in most regions.

RMS has added data from Poland, Slovakia and the Czech Republic to its Version 11 Europe windstorm model, which now covers 15 countries, the firm said.

The Version 11 model is the first upgrade to RMS' view of European windstorm exposures since 2006 and includes lessons learned from more than 2 million individual claims from windstorms including...
