Sarasin closes Twelve-managed ILS fund after reaching $100mn

Sarasin Fund Management has closed its Cat Bond Fund to new subscriptions after taking in $100mn in its first four months.

The Sarasin-distributed fund is managed by Swiss specialist fund manager Twelve Capital, which offers other ILS funds under its own brand that remain open.

It is the second fund closure within a few days after GAM said last week that it would have to operate a waiting list for new subscriptions to its Star Cat Bond fund managed by...
