Securis targets up to £200mn for new fund

London-based investment manager Securis Investment Partners is hoping to raise up to £200mn from a closed-ended fund to be listed on the main London Stock Exchange (LSE) this month.

Securis managing partner Rob Procter said the fund would draw in a new pocket of institutional investors by offering better liquidity than its existing open-ended funds.

"It seems to be appealing to certain types," he said, citing multi-manager and balanced funds, as well as some managers for wealthy clients as examples...
