Selius quits Securis for UBS

Former Swiss Re trader Al Selius has left ILS investment manager Securis Investment Partners after a year with the firm, Trading Risk has learned.

He is now with investment bank UBS in Connecticut as managing director and ILS trader.

As previously reported by Trading Risk, UBS recently lost ILS executive John Modin to Citi.

A Securis spokesperson confirmed Selius' departure, adding that it was an amicable split.
