Turks and Caicos Islands due $13.6mn CCRIF payout

The Caribbean Catastrophe Risk Insurance Facility (CCRIF) will pay out $13.6mn to the Turks and Caicos Islands following Hurricane Irma.

The storm has triggered payments from the CCRIF totalling approximately $29.6mn.

Antigua and Barbuda is to receive $6.79mn, Anguilla $6.53mn, St Kitts and Nevis $2.30mn, Haiti $162,000 and the Bahamas $234,000.

CCRIF is currently verifying the payout calculations, which will be completed within 14 days of the event - in accordance with its operational guidelines.
