Twelve Capital hires Butler

Switzerland-based ILS fund manager Twelve Capital has appointed former Hannover Re underwriter John Butler as a partner and hired quantitative researcher Dr Roman Muraviev as an associate.

Butler joins from Hannover Re's Bermuda operation, where he served as senior underwriter in the international treaty group. He will manage and write European and Asia-Pacific property cat and terrorism portfolios as well as sourcing and executing private ILS transactions.
