US wind appetite returns after 'bipolar' split

The gap between peak and non-peak cat bond trading prices eased back in August after diverging into what Swiss Re described as a "bipolar" market mid-year.

A strong appetite for diversifying assets on the back of a US wind glut pushed European wind bond spreads down to levels last seen in 2007 as trading prices rose.
