Near 60% of Bermuda P&C insurers have not adapted strategy for climate change

Most Bermudian insurers have not yet made major changes to business strategy as a result of climate change, but the vast majority have incorporated it into their risk management framework, according to a new survey released by the Bermuda Monetary Authority (BMA).

The survey found that 58.5% of P&C insurers and 76.7% of life insurers have not pursued a change to business strategy in response to climate change, but 81.5%
