Florida insurer lawsuits on rise in Q1 2021: CaseGlide

Lawsuits against insurers in Florida continued to increase each month over the first quarter of 2021, with the number filed in February and March being the highest in the past year.

Insurance lawsuits filed in March reached 6,405, a 14% month-on-month increase, according to CaseGlide data.

For the first time since the agency began tracking this data in 2014, litigation activity posted a steady increase through winter and into March.
