White Mountains has said its part-owned ILS manager Elementum has made a “steady start” to 2021 after experiencing a flattish year in 2020.

The investment house made a cash yield of 7% from its investment in Elementum in 2020, after extracting cash dividends of $4mn, according to data in a presentation released today.
