Franklin Templeton launches UCITS cat bond fund

Franklin Templeton has launched a UCITS cat bond fund, the Franklin K2 Cat Bond UCITS Fund, marking the first ILS-specific vehicle launch from the firm.

Jonathan Malawer – managing director and head of ILS, commodities and environmental strategies at Franklin Templeton subsidiary K2 Advisors – will manage the strategy.
