Florida and the east coast are likely to be the areas at greatest risk for US landfalling storm activity this hurricane season, BMS senior meteorologist Andrew Siffert predicted.

He said early season activity off the West Coast of Africa and other data hints that storm tracks will end up in areas of higher positive rainfall anomalies, impacting these regions.
