Longtime AmRisc CUO Scott Hanson has launched a new MGU in partnership with Orchid Insurance to target the excess and surplus property market.

CrossCover, which will begin operating later this month, will offer limits up to $50mn per location through a panel of AM Best-rated carriers and reinsurers.
