KCC pegs Mexican earthquake insured loss at $200mn

Karen Clark & Company (KCC) has estimated that last week’s Mexican earthquake will result in insured losses of around $200mn.

The magnitude 7.0 earthquake struck on 7 September at 8.47pm local time near Acapulco City, on a subduction zone where the Cocos and North American tectonic plates converge.
