Suncorp estimates nat cat losses of A$382mn-A$492mn

Suncorp has estimated its loss from natural hazards occurring since 1 July at A$382mn-A$492mn ($286.5mn-$369.0mn), with the largest single event Coffs Harbour hailstorm at A$70mn-A$100mn.

The largest hailstone ever to fall in Australia at 16cm in diameter was reportedly recorded in Queensland last week, while buildings in Coffs Harbour were evacuated owing to storms of heavy hailstones.
