HannoverRe said that EUR180mn of its EUR221.6mn ceded Ida losses stemmed from ILS businesses that Hannover Re fronts.

Speaking on its earnings call, the carrier also said it would make recoveries from both its K sidecar and its whole-account XOL retro programme for Storm Bernd flooding.
