Florida court grants Belisle request to stay case

The Florida Middle District Court has granted a request by former Markel Catco CEO Tony Belisle to stay a case being brought against him by one of Catco’s former investors HWH Realty Holdings.

The court agreed to say the case until 18 February, or until the date this month when the Bermuda Supreme Court is expected to issue its decision on whether to allow Markel Catco’s proposed scheme of arrangement to proceed.
