UK parliament launches inquiry into London market regulation

The UK parliament has launched a call for evidence to the (re)insurance industry for an inquiry into London market regulation, which will look into whether the regime strikes the right balance between regulations and competitiveness.

In its call for evidence, the House of Lords Industry and Regulators Committee states it will explore whether regulatory policy is “well-designed and proportionately applied” and how to improve policy following Brexit.
