InsurTech Reask, which focuses on natural hazard cat modelling, has closed its seed funding round.

Technology investor Tencent, which has invested in the likes of Tesla, WeChat and Spotify, led the round, with SV Angel, an early investor in Google, Twitter and Airbnb, and US-based venture fund Hawktail also participating.
