AIG halves aggregate limit to $1.1bn

AIG nearly halved its aggregate limit in its 2022 reinsurance programme, from $2.05bn to $1.1bn, representing a 46% decline.

The new aggregate protection attaches excess of $400mn, down from the previous year’s $500mn.

In its annual 10-K report for 2021, the firm outlined several changes to its reinsurance programme.
