Aon’s capital advisory unit in the US has hired QBE’s former reinsurance buyer Jim Fiore as chief strategy officer, almost a year after this publication reported his departure from QBE.

Fiore will continue to be based in Bermuda, where he was working in his previous role. Aon confirmed to this publication that he is joining the US capital advisory team.
