Axa XL has appointed Nancy Bewlay as CEO of its reinsurance business with immediate effect, as incumbent chief Charles Cooper steps down.

Bewlay has been global CUO for Axa XL for the past two years. She has more than three decades’ experience, having joined XL Catlin – now Axa XL – in 2017 as global CUO for casualty.
