The Insurance Council of Australia (ICA) has updated the claims count to 118,016 for home and motor losses arising from flooding in Southeast Queensland and New South Wales (NSW).

The ICA’s insured loss estimate is A$1.77bn ($1.3bn) – split 63%, or A$1,107mn, for Queensland, and 37%, or A$663mn, for NSW.
