Executive pay at RenaissanceRe fell for the second year in a row in 2021 after a “disappointing” return for shareholders in a year of elevated natural catastrophes.

The decrease of total compensation of named executive officers was driven by an annual incentive bonus 14% below target, and in the forfeiture of previously granted performance shares.
