Twia seeks $150mn cat bond for named storms in Alamo Re deal

The Texas Windstorm Insurance Association (Twia) is seeking $150mn of cat bond cover for named storms and severe thunderstorms in an Alamo Re deal fronted by Hannover Re.

The bond will provide cover that will trigger on an annual aggregate basis against any named storm or severe thunderstorm, with an initial attachment level of $2.2bn.
