Deadly ‘derecho’ storm sweeps through Ontario and Quebec

More than 925,000 power outages have been reported in the Canadian provinces of Quebec and Ontario as a result of a fierce ‘derecho’ storm, according to PowerOutage.com.

The storm swept across the cities on Saturday, with winds of up to 120 km/h, toppling trees and breaking more than 200 hydro poles, according to CBC Canada.
