Ratings agency Demotech has said it will not issue any rating downgrades today, and that in several cases it is considering a changed stance, as discussions continue with rated entities about their financials.

Demotech president Joe Petrelli said the ratings agency would take additional time to review information and consider issues faced by insurers operating in Florida, delaying any downgrades of firms that were scheduled for today.
