MLC adds quota shares and ups ILS to more than $726mn

Australian pension fund MLC upsized its ILS allocation as of 1 January to more than A$1bn ($726mn), owing to the continuing attraction of ILS’s diversifying characteristics, recent wider spreads and the profits the fund has made consistently from ILS every year, including 2017.
