Swiss Re has opened up its cat bond portfolio to third-party investment with the launch of a new SEC-registered investment advisory firm.

The new platform, Swiss Re Insurance-Linked Investment Advisors Corporation (SRILIAC), will offer investment management services to qualified institutional investors, with a focus on catastrophe bonds.
