Lemonade cuts quota share cession rate to 55%

Lemonade has reduced its quota share cession rate, ceding 55% of gross premiums, down from 75% in 2020.

In a recent letter to shareholders, the company said the program had served it “incredibly well” and that Lemonade had achieved its aim from last year to “gradually reduce the portion of premium we cede over time”.
