Aon projects robust, longer-term growth for ILS market

Expectations of robust, longer-term growth in the ILS market, due to higher margins fuelled by price increases and higher interest rates, would be “reasonable”, Aon has said in its ILS Annual Report.

This growth is only likely to occur, however, once the inflationary trends, interest rates and geopolitical uncertainties that have “pervaded” the broader financial markets so far in 2022 are better understood, Aon said.
