As Hurricane Ian moves closer to landfall in Florida, some carriers may have a larger exposure to damages, depending on which line of coverage is hit the hardest, according to market share data from AM Best.

If Ian lands in a more residential area, Universal Insurance Holdings and Citizens could be the most heavily impacted carriers, according to 2021 data.
