KCC Ian loss estimate includes $13bn litigation loading

Modelling firm Karen Clark & Company (KCC) has included a $13bn allowance within its $63bn Hurricane Ian loss estimate to account for high anticipated litigation against insurers in the state – amplifying the loss by more than one-quarter, the firm told this publication.
