Universal CEO Steve Donaghy said that severity of claims related to Hurricane Ian has been less than what the Floridian carrier saw initially during Hurricane Irma.

On a call with analysts, the executive added that while the Florida market has seen benefits from recent legislation, the major issue remaining is one-way attorney fees.
