Conduit Re has increased its ultimate premiums written by 60% during the January renewals to $421mn, as “exciting” conditions provided opportunities in property, casualty and specialty.

In a renewals trading update, Conduit said risk-adjusted prices were up 19% net of inflation across its portfolio this January, with increases of 39% in property.
